Conclusion of flashforward

Films: Sherlock Holmes 1, Sherlock Holmes 2, Malena, Flashforward TV series(1-4).

I have watched these films mainly about flashforward, but not as many as flashback films because these flashforward films are not easy to find. So from these films above I have some ideas about flashforward.

A kind of flashforward is only used for predicting what will be happened immediately, like in Sherlock Holmes 1, Sherlock shows how he can fight the guy first before he fight.

Another flashforward is used for predicting what will be happened next and analysing its both positive and negative sphere, just like in the end of Sherlock Holmes 2, two men are likely to fight together, before their fight, Sherlock begins to think about how to fight him and analyse the result of win or lost.

The third kind of flashforward is used for making comparison between reality and imagination. Such as Malena, the young boy always following the lady wherever she goes, once the lady gets closer to him, he imagines that he is kissing with the lady even making love with her, but back to reality, the lady just walk-passed him. Every flashforward in this film are in similar ways. Back to the end of Sherlock Holems 2, when Sherlock finished thinking and analysing, Watson came into the room, after that, Sherlock pushed the man out of the balcony and dropped into the waterfall, and he also suffered. So all of Sherlock's thinking and analysis are totally different from the result.

In a tv series called Flashforward, flashforward shots, which are simply brought by people's words, are displaying what they have seen in that period of sleeping, during their sleep, the time flashforward to Apr 29, 2010 from 6 months ago. So all the series are talking about what they had seen during their sleep, and they are trying to find out how to avoid something will be happened in that day.
